Events: One crew member just dropped an elite LinkedIn post. Another just realized they’ve been calling someone the wrong name all day.
Remarks: The Intern Ship has sailed once again, and last month’s voyage was nothing short of legendary.

With 159 check-ins, we packed the deck to capacity, and the energy was absolutely electric. The conversations flowed, the connections sparked, and the demand for more? Loud and clear.

But even the smoothest journeys have their waves. The music? A little too loud for easy conversation—so this time, we’re taking the helm on sound control to make sure networking stays effortless. The space? We needed more of it. That’s why for our next event, we’re opening up access to the back VIP room and the main floor, making sure everyone has room to spread out, explore, and make connections without feeling cramped. Every event teaches us something new, and we’re making sure to fine-tune the experience for an even better voyage ahead.

Maybe you feel a twinge of guilt for taking a break, as if there’s always something more productive you should be doing. Or perhaps rest feels like just another pause between tasks—never quite free from the weight of what’s next.

With spring break around the corner, I know many of you are thinking about how to maximize your time—catching up on projects, applying for jobs, pushing forward. And that’s great. You should absolutely go after your goals. But I’d like to challenge you to do something radical:

When it’s time to rest, give yourself full permission to do nothing productive. Let your mind and body breathe. Stretch. Enjoy being horizontal. Relax without guilt. Give yourself at least one hour where your only goal is to exist—doing whatever refills your cup, whether that’s daydreaming, watching the clouds, or simply lying down with no agenda.

Rest isn’t just a break from work—it’s fuel for everything you do. So this spring break, embrace it fully.

Because you’re doing great. You are exactly where you are meant to be. Whatever is meant for you is on its way to you.
