MAIN QUEST
📚️ Josh’s Pathway to Citi

 💎 3 Golden Nuggets from Josh’s Tech Path 💎

  • Don’t be afraid to ask. I’ve found mentors from posting on LinkedIn asking my network for help.

  • While you can still get a software engineering role without a CS degree, it is easier if you have one.

  • Don’t underestimate the value of networking. I landed my role at Citi through a referral from my network. A good place to start networking is joining junior engineering / fresh grad communities.

NO TECH GATEKEEPING
📚️ Josh’s Recommended Resources

  1. Baeldung - Learn Java

  2. Grokking Algorithms – Josh’s Take: My number 1 rec for getting a proper baseline for DSA technical interviewing. It breaks down heavy technical topics in an easily digestible and, dare I say it, entertaining manner.
